2018 NCC Information Sessions

The ABCB will be holding informative seminars in February and March 2018 in Australia’s major cities and has announced that registration has now opened.

The seminars will allow attendees to hear about the changes to the NCC that could impact their chosen work. There will also be a presentation and further discussion on the processes involved for the development of Performance Solutions.

The seminar program includes the following:

  • NCC 2016 Volume One Amendment 1, which relates to fire safety requirements.
  • NCC 2019 public comment draft.
  • The improved CodeMark Australia scheme.
  • A practical development and assessment of Performance Solutions.

The ABCB will also be holding half-day presentations in major cities to inform practitioners about BCA initiatives which include the amendment to Volume One applicable to fire safety. These half-day sessions will run from 9:30am to 12:30pm, with additional afternoon sessions held in both Sydney and Melbourne from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.

Information on the practical development and assessment of Performance Solutions will also be provided.
