Entries open for 32nd Dulux Colour Awards
Dulux has announced that entries are now open for the 32nd annual Dulux Colour Awards, which celebrate the creative and innovative use of colour.
Dulux is inviting architects, designers, stylists and students to submit work that showcases their use of colour across commercial and residential spaces. Entrants must illustrate their artistic and professional skill by documenting how a space can be transformed and enhanced using the Dulux colour collection.
“The awards give architects and designers the opportunity to showcase their colour vision, whether that’s through incorporating current colour trends or setting the scene for the future of colour. We are excited to see submissions that push creativity to new heights,” says Dulux colour planning and communications manager Andrea Lucena-Orr.
There are nine categories for the awards, Commercial Interior – Workplace & Retail, Commercial Interior – Public Spaces & Hospitality, Commercial Exterior, Single Residential Interior, Single Residential Exterior, Multi Residential Interior, Multi Residential Exterior, International and Student.
Andrea says this year the company is expecting to see projects that use colour to accentuate and stimulate interior and exterior design spaces.
“Passion for colour is intensifying across Australia and New Zealand, and we are confident that this year’s program will see entries that understand not just how colour is used, but also how colour is considered and balanced in every submission.”
All entries, except for the Student category, will be eligible to win the Grand Prix title and each category winner will receive prize money.
Entries close on Monday 26 February 2018 and winners will be announced at a gala function at the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne on 10 May 2018.
