The 2019 HIA-CSR NSW Housing and Kitchen & Bathroom Awards were presented in front of a sell-out crowd at The Star on Saturday night.

The awards showcase the achievements of builders and building professionals.

The Home of the Year award was presented to the Jeff Towler Building which also won two other awards – the NSW Custom Built Home and the Custom Built Home over $4 million. Judges described it as having “a beautiful external facade combining face bricks and zinc in an extremely intricate build with many curves and angles.”

They add that the home epitomises good design and extremely high quality of craftsmanship in all aspects of the build.

Eden Brae Homes also won three awards – the highly contested Professional Major Builder Award for the third year running, as well as the Work Health and Safety award and Display Home $300,001 to $350,000.

Hamik Luxury Homes won three awards for Bathroom of the Year, Large Bathroom over 9sqm and Outdoor Project. Blue Eco Homes took home two awards, winning both the Small Professional Builder/Renovator and the Custom Built Homes – $1 million to $2 million.
