Trex brings Transcend Lineage of composite decking to Australia

Trex, a global provider of premium composite decking solutions, has brought the Transcend Lineage to the Australian market.

This latest generation aims to bring enhanced aesthetics and performance to the composite decking alongside industry-leading sustainability.

“Transcend revolutionised the composite decking category when it was first introduced to the market in 2010, offering unprecedented aesthetics and performance, and has remained the industry’s leading composite decking product for more than a decade,” Trex president of residential products Adam Zambanini says.

“Lineage represents a natural extension of this line, delivering an evolved sense of style that reflects today’s design trends and lifestyles.”

The Trex Transcend range is the coolest range of decking yet, literally. The boards are engineered with heat-mitigating technology in the shell to reflect the sun and keep boards cooler than other composite decking offerings of a similar colour.

This new offering also features an elevated look with subtle hues and elegant graining that deliver an unmatched natural appearance. Lineage is now available in Australia in two colour options:

  • Biscayne – a light coastal brown that captures the beauty of mangroves and sandy coasts with light honey hues and a natural grain pattern
  • Rainier – an airy, mountain grey that mirrors white-capped mountains and wooded sounds with its soft silver tones and delicate graining.

‌The composition of the boards is comprised of 95% recycled and reclaimed materials – including a mix of polyethylene plastic film and industrial wood scrap – making it an environmentally friendly choice that outperforms and outlasts natural wood.

This new line contributes to the more than one billion pounds of upcycled materials used annually in the making of Trex decking.
