Timber and hardware industries celebrate 2023 NTHA National Awards
Australian timber and hardware industries recently celebrated the 2023 NTHA National Awards event brought by the National Timber & Hardware Association (NTHA).
Taking place at the first conference since the merge of Timber and Building Materials Association (TABMA) Australia and Hardware Australia in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales, the 26 May celebration recognised leading professionals and organisations in both the timber and hardware industries who are working above and beyond to deliver quality products and services.
NTHA chief executive officer David Little said the national awards provided a significant opportunity for timber and hardware professionals to be acknowledged on a larger scale.
“This event was the first time since the merger earlier this year that our industries have come together and the atmosphere in the room was electric, with plenty of opportunities to network with a wider stakeholder group,” David says.
“Congratulations to all of our finalists and winners who have all shown dedication to their work and achieved above and beyond results for their businesses.”
The 2023 NTHA National Awards winners included ITI Australia for Timber Supplier of the Year, Dulux, Australia for Hardware Retail Supplier of the Year, Pink’s Mitre 10 in Clare, South Australia for Best Hardware Retail Store under 2500m2, Porters Mitre 10 in Mackay, Queensland for Best Hardware Retail Store over 2500m2 and Acheson’s Mitre 10 in Forbes, New South Wales for Best Hardware Garden Department.
