Puma Safety releases the Heritage Range of safety footwear

Puma Safety has released the Heritage Range of safety footwear, based on the design of classic Puma sneakers of the past.

This new range is indistinguishable from fashionable, everyday streetwear styles but also maintains the safety levels needed for the jobsite.

“Puma Safety has always been at the forefront in closing the gap between Safety and everyday footwear,” Trading Downunder’s Alessandra Pizzardello says. Trading Downunder is the exclusive Distributor of Puma Safety products for Australia and New Zealand.

Initially, four Heritage styles will be launched on the Australian market, three styles based on Puma’s Iconic street-style sneakers and one based on their traditional basketball style.

To keep the footwear light and metal-free, the Heritage features a fibreglass toe cap, ensuring extra toe space yet still providing 200J impact protection. A 300°C heat and slip-resistant rubber outsole, combined with a herringbone tread profile optimises grip.

Comfort is elevated with a shock-absorbing Cell embedded in the heel, along with a breathable lining and moisture-absorbing footbed. The Heritage range is also Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) rated, to reduce the build-up of Static electricity.
