CSR launches eco-friendly wall panels to improve home acoustics

CSR has introduced a range of high-performance decorative wall panels for residential use. Soundstyle by Woven Image provides an environmentally responsible solution designed to improve acoustic comfort in modern homes.
Open-plan layouts and hard finishes can amplify noise, affecting wellbeing, attention and stress levels.
“Open plan layouts allow noise to transfer easily between zones, creating echoes,” CSR general manager marketing Renee McGinty says. “Effective acoustic management ensures quieter, more comfortable interiors.”
Soundstyle panels are made in Australia from 100% PET, 60% of which is post-consumer recycled. They are designed to reduce sound reverberation while offering visual appeal.
The panels are lightweight, precision-cut and available in three designs and eight neutral tones. Each large-format panel can reduce echo and unwanted noise by 21% and suits living rooms, bedrooms, offices and media areas.
“Builders need materials that perform well and are easy to install,” Renee says.
“Soundstyle meets that need. It can be installed after finishing work, with panels engineered to improve sound travel within the home.”
The panels can be applied to full or half walls and installed directly on plasterboard, masonry or fibre-cement walls. Soundstyle is durable, carbon-neutral and carries Sensitive Choice certification.
