Taylor celebrates its 25th anniversary

Taylor, Sydney-based building consultants, is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

From humble beginnings in a converted lounge room office in Sydney’s northern suburbs to the heights it’s at now, delivering up to 500 construction projects and boasting over 250 employees.

“When we started, my vision was to build a company that could add more value for clients while also playing a role in the growth of Sydney’s developing skyline,” Taylor managing director Mark Taylor says.

“I’m proud to say that across our entire history, fostering meaningful business relationships that extend beyond ‘service delivery’ has been a key element in our success and has become the point of difference that sets us apart from our peers.

“We’re proud to celebrate 25 years as a trusted advisor and delivery partner in the construction industry, and we’re looking forward to building on our growing project portfolio.”

One of the company’s landmark projects has been the Wildlife Retreat at Taronga Zoo, on behalf of the Taronga Conservation Society, which was completed in August 2019. The project combined luxury accommodation alongside some of the wildlife in the zoo.

Reflecting on his journey, Mark is proud of where the company has gone: “Thinking about where we are today, it goes without saying that the industry has evolved for the better, and I’m proud to say Taylor has evolved as well, while staying true to our core value of maintaining meaningful relationships with our clients.”
