Boral introduces Shiplap lining board to cladding range

Boral has released new hardwood Shiplap timber wall lining boards which bring the warmth of wood indoors and provide a long-lasting durable surface for unique design possibilities.

Timber lining boards create a neutral backdrop that can be layered with other materials, such as black aluminium, glass and concrete, for great design impact. Boral’s Shiplap lining can be used for internal wall applications or undercover areas, such as protected eave ceilings and wall lining in covered alfresco areas.

The wider 128mm x 14mm Shiplap lining profile can provide a seamless transition from inside to outside, extending living areas into an outdoor room.

In additional to the existing V-Joint profile, they are available in the Blackbutt and Spotted Gum species. These Australian hardwoods can withstand harsh weather conditions, including rain, humidity, wind, salt and intense heat, and are bushfire resistant timbers, with Blackbutt additionally offering termite resistant qualities.

Graded to AS3959 Standard, Boral’s Shiplap lining is a sustainable timber choice. It is Responsible Wood Chain of Custody certified, providing peace of mind that the timber is sourced from sustainably managed and legal forestry.
