The new Trex Transcend range

Wood-alternative decking manufacturer and distributor Trex Company is expanding its high-performance Trex Transcend decking collection with a new on-trend colour option and a new board profile.

Joining the collection is Rope Swing, a light taupe colour that lends a relaxed atmosphere to any home’s exterior. Ideally suited to the natural Aussie landscape, Rope Swing offers a complement to both light and dark railing options.

“The introduction of Rope Swing to the Australian marketplace is in direct response to feedback from both consumers and professional partners who have expressed interest in a lighter colour option within the Transcend line,” said Trex Company director of international business development Brad Felix.

Trex also is expanding its Transcend portfolio with a new board profile. The company’s popular Spiced Rum colour is now offered in 33mm x 140mm boards available in 3.66m, 4.88m and 6.1m lengths, delivering more options for greater design flexibility.

The Trex Transcend collection is designed to outperform timber and PVC for decades.

Boards feature a proprietary nine-element surface formulation that produces a natural, timber-like grain pattern with a lustrous satin finish that feels comfortable underfoot. Engineered with an exclusive low-sheen, high-traffic formulation, Trex Transcend decking resists fading, staining, scratching and mould – and will not rot, warp, crack or splinter. Upkeep is hassle-free and requires no sanding, staining or painting.
